Hello! I have a featherbed frame with number X1850X stamped on headstock. I think it is a Dunstall Lowboy but would like to get it confirmed.

Sorry, but I can’t stop myself from pointing out (for the gezillionth time) , that Doug Hele’s domiracer frame was just called the “domiracer” frame. The “lowboy” frame was quite different and from an earlier, experimental Manx.

I have traced the owner back from the mid 70ies. He experimented with his own rubber mount and headstay. He made a JPS copy on the fairings.
