Don't be putting out the negative vibe manWhat’s your guess as for what it sells for?
I’m gonna say $12200 USD and I’m hope I’m wrong and that it sells for more.

Yes exactly. No reserve means no set or minimum price. It says no reserve . If nobody offers more in the next six days , does he have to sell it for $6250 ?
That’s why I said I hope I’m wrong and that it sells for more. I own two and hope the hold or gain in value. But I know how the “ only worth what someone what’s to pay” works. Keeping my fingers crossed for the seller.Don't be putting out the negative vibe man. We are going to list one of our customers 961 soon. We already had a local offer of 15k for it but we are remapping the ECU before it goes on sale.

Yes Contours' bike was Red and I believe retro-fitted the carbon wheels. That was “ Contours” bike from readsboro, he got it from MCC Chicago, sure it was red though
Lol.Cheaper, and much more of an adventure, to fly to Florida and ride the bike home Ken.
Kinda like Easy Rider in reverse !
How can you compare a cheap priced, lesser component parts ( non Brembos, non Ohlins etc) to a higher priced Norton? I mean you can buy 3 Royals for one used 961.SOLD FOR $16,500 ON 11/6/21 !!!
I hope Norton are watching this. There is a lot of good feeling for them in the U.S.A judging by the remarks on BAT. They don't need a 200 BHP rocket, just a classic bike which passes all the emission tests etc. look at the Royal Enfield 650, selling like hot cakes and they are nowhere near as beautiful as a 961.
Site say $15,500, no?SOLD FOR $16,500 ON 11/6/21 !!!

Site said 16.5K . I am not selling mine but it is good to know some are holding their value. I paid 18K plus taxes and fees for mine in 2014 .Site say $15,500, no?
No. We’re taking about the 2014 Commando Sport that sold for $16500 usd on bring a trailer.com
Ok perhaps that wasn’t a good example to use, but my point was that there are still a lot of folks out there with a fond affection for Norton, look at the comments on that auction and you’ll see. (And actually the Enfields do have BrembosHow can you compare a cheap priced, lesser component parts ( non Brembos, non Ohlins etc) to a higher priced Norton? You put it perfectly and it's exactly the point I was trying to convey.I know yooz boyz might not like it, but I’d suggest that HD is a better comparison.
HD prove that there is a big market for people willing to spend big money on motorcycles that are NOT hyper sports bikes, and in fact, on paper, hardly make sense at all.
But it’s all about the pleasure, emotion, escapism, etc that they give the owner. Be that from character, sound, looks, comfort, brand history or image, etc, etc.
Add the Norton history and brand into the equation and it ain’t hard to see there’d be a large market for a well sorted, well supported, 961 or similar.
