The first indication of many I imagine !!
Yes, and of course, once bitten twice shy.......but you really have to try hard to not just become and old cynic

So, if I understand the tables, for a non-modified engine, all oils listed in all charts OTHER than the bottom chart (oils that may cause excessive wear) are deemed suitable, right?
WOW!
Impressive graphic analysis of all your work.
Will be using these for next purchase now that I know my seat of pants choice of Redline 20-50 is worthless glop of semi-glue. hahaha
Thanks Jim!
BTW - not seeing where I can get MOA 115 in USA.

Thanks for all that BIG job Jim.
When you'll have some free extra time, just come in for a coffee.
So after changing from Rock Oil Synthesis (recommended by Pete Lovell) to Redline 20/60 because of the higher zddp content I have probably done more harm than good...sigh!
Well the engine is in bits at the moment anyway awaiting crankcase to cradle mounting repairs and a modification while waiting on some JS conrods and pistons to arrive.
So an earlier unaswered question I posed on this thread a while ago: bearing in mind it will be a brand new cam, reground followers but new pistons and freshly honed barrel too what would you recommend oil wise so I don't glaze the bores but still give adequate protection for the cam?
