fenders: painted or chrome

Just thought I would do a poll on fenders. to paint or chrome. personally after years of chrome fenders I decided to paint this time and I find the chrome rims and spokes stand right out now contrary to when all chrome fenders, rims, and spokes together yes all nice chrome but nothing standing out there to grab you. With the fender painted the rims and spokes stand out more and give a look.
just my opinion wondering how others feel about this.

It's up to you, I've seen some nice bikes out there with painted fenders. I painted my rear fender fireflake blue to match because I didn't want to chrome it. It looked fine, even with a chrome front fender, but I finally bought a rear chromed one to match because I wanted a more original look.
