fav artists in different genres of music?

saw em in 73/74 and the drummer did his thing live. Always like to hear this song on the radio
Saw them open for The Who at the Duetches Museum in '72. Walked in late and they were doing a cover of Eight Miles High. Found that interesting being on acid. Drove past the Olympic grounds that night on the way back to Augsburg not knowing everything would turn to shit the next morning.

No favorites, but here's an oldie:
Elmore James: Blues - bottle neck slide and electric guitar

Other:
Carlos Santana gets my vote for knowing how to tune a guitar

My opinion means nuts -

I'm definitely a music dinosaur!
500ish CDs and 300ish LPs - don't have to bother with low quality streaming music.
Well chosen 5 CDs in the carousel makes for a great evening!

1976 was a stand out year (left school end of 1975)
There were stand out songs that year also, just a song right ?
The devil is in the detail perhaps.

Neil Young done better (IMHO) by Annie Lennox:
(but only in the same way that Bryan Ferry's version of Jealous Guy is nicer then John Lennon's - the original is always really better)

Worth listening to the album (Medusa)
