One of my favorites here...

I saw him in person doing his 40th anniversary tour. Still an amazing showman and the girls still adore him.

I thought this thread had reached its natural end at a peak of (in no particular order)

Eddie and the Hot Rods
The Pirates
Dr Feelgood (until Wilco left)
The Stranglers (omitted for some strange reason)

But seems to have now degenerated to "middle of the road" Neil Diamond
and progressive rock Uriah Heep who I had the misfortune to see, but luckily
the beer was good so I stayed in the bar

Let's not forget the magic Summer of '67:
Beatles' Sgt. Pepper
Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow
Doors first album.

I have no shame and will admit I have seen Showaddywaddy live.... Though in my defense they were playing at an open air summer festival not half a mile from my front door....
But no, wasn't a mis-spell, Stackwaddy's two albums are excellent examples of early Brit raunch'n'roll... (IMHO)

Here's something different.
For our foreign brethren, Broome is a small town (pop. 14,000ish) about 1600km north of Perth on Australia's west coast - so, reasonably remote.
A road trip to Broome is on many Aussie's bucket list - mine included.
