Just another political mechanism offering the saving of the planet converted to an advertising/marketing ploy for corporate sales.
Remember when Jimmy Carter said the oil is running out and the big 3 brought us the Chrysler K car, the Ford Maverick and the Chevy Vega?

And that even as the problems and drawbacks of these EV's continues to rise MSM remains silent on the subject.
Ever wonder why certain media factions attempt to suppress these problems?
You don't suppose the saturated purchasing of ad space and air time might be related to MSM's negligent reporting of such problems do you?

Good Sunday to you folk in the northern hemisphere...

Six of the countries on the top ten wind power nations in the world shown here are in the top ten also in the retail cost of electricity to citizens. No coincidence. Very difficult to financially justify projects with 58% to 64% of the time no electric power being generated. UK and German economies badly impaired now from over committing huge $ to this low value energy resource, while shutting down that which operates full time.

This massive subsea volcanic event appears to have elevated the absolute amount of water vapor in the upper atmosphere by some 11%. As high as the mesosphere and into space. Huge ejection.
This May last for up to ten years. This added water vapor encircled the earth within several months of eruption. Water vapor (the other “greenhouse gas” according to environmentalists ) is 63X more prevalent in the upper atmosphere than Co2.... This single event would have a major impact on warming the entire Pacific Ocean by several degrees, and on northern hemisphere temps....
 
Hopefully, it will not take 10 years for the water vapor to coalesce into clouds and then provide some shade for the earth's surface below.

Thought this might be of interest to some, an extract from an Economist article which is critical of the development of wastefully large SUV type EV's.
"Lucien Mathieu of Transport and Environment, a European NGO, says that even the biggest EVs have lower lifetime carbon emissions than the average conventional car. That is true even in places with plenty of coal-fired electricity, such as China."

Ford CEO Admits 'Reality Check' When He Took Electric F-150 Truck on Road Trip

“In California, Mr. Farley said he encountered slow charging times. When using a low-speed charger, it took about 40 minutes for it to charge the electric F-150's battery to 40 percent.

It comes after a Canadian man told news outlets that he was forced to abandon his Ford electric truck after suffering charging failures during a road trip.

‘It was in [the] shop for 6 months. I can’t take it to my lake cabin. I cannot take it for off-grid camping. I cannot take for even a road trip…I can only drive in city—biggest scam of modern times.’”
