weld_freak,

If it was a Roadster. it would have originally looked like this?: http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/NCRoadster.htm

Interstate: http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/NCInterstate.htm

Hi-Rider: http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/NCHiRider.htm

There were no "850 Combat" models.

All 850 models supposedly started at serial 300000 (none went as high as "3000000") and it isn't really possible to identify which body style it actually was when it left the factory, as the records for the 850 models no longer exist, and all three body styles were made during the 850 production period.
