Had a lovely New England day here Sunday, so I took the old girl out to the park for some pics. Long shadows, early afternoon. Not as crisp as what my camera usually gives me.

Had the footrest mounts chromed this year. Much easier to maintain:

I like that, my style.
Block that zenor diode hole up with a bolt.

Yes, I am rediculously picky. I need a good slapping.
Bloody nice bike though.

Appears to be a nice chrome job on the hub & z-plate. Agree on another comment regarding empty zenor diode hole to have a chrome hex bolt or how about a rubber plug? Clean bike though. That color is always nice, never will go out of style.

Good thing it is the end of the season, now you can detail it.

Thanks for the comments.

LOL, you have no idea. The aluminum has tarnished a bit since the beginning of the season. Normally it glistens just like chrome, but I haven't touched it up in a few weeks. I bought this bike new and for 34 years my friends have accused me of cleaning it more than riding. She managed to take 2 trophies at Brit Iron shows this season, and I put about 3000 miles on her to boot.

Regarding the Zener hole, I think I'll plug it with a brass bolt and the original star washer/nut.

The rear wheel will get stainless spokes this winter, to match the front. I may powder coat the rear hub too so I don't have to scrub it with a toothbrush any more. Anal? Nah, not me!
