Hi, except the 28tpi/26tpi of the top nuts which are different, is the bottom pinch bolt stud the same ?? it appears that the cdo one is unf on the outside and bsf for the featherbed , but what about the inside thread .............???? I had a look on Andover and RGM , but they don't say !

Thanks , at least I know for the Cdo , just missing the Atlas now , as the bottom yoke a fellow member had sent to me is Atlas (or any featherbed 7-3/8 ), because Andover gives different numbers for outside nuts (they said UNF for the cdo nut ) and nothing about the stud , RGM said another thing ..........?

Thanks again, so I will ask to RGM why they propose the BSF studs and nuts for the featherbed with 20 tpi as according to my Zeus book it should be 18 tpi , and the UNF 20 tpi...........will phone them tomorrow !!

My apology:
I didn't check with a tap ( I don't have that size) but the pitch gauge does show 20tpi inside the nut and stud thread.
two more featherbed triple trees to check...
Yes inner is 20 tpi also
Sorry
Looks like same threads for commando except 55 or 60 degrees and .594" and .683" nut hex

Hi, in fact yesterday I tried a 7/16 unf bolt into the featherbed (26 tpi top stem) bottom yoke pinch stud hole and it worked fine , so it should be the "famous non standard " 7/16 -20 tpi CEI with 55°..................so forgot BSF , and go ahead with UNF !!
