Ms Peel's RGM boxed Al swingarm [comes polished],
needs to serve as 100+ PSI air tank
Holes required internally through the front tube cross brace, blind welded to inner leg surface,
Mocked it up in place for hose and fitting routing access and motion clearance.
Made first committed pilot hole a wk ago - only drifted hand drill in lap in rocking chair
in wee am hrs, ~1/8" off the punched bulls eye.
Requires an extra long drill bit to keep drill beyond the swing arm Al and
reach across swing arm at oblique shallow angle thru the cross piece hole,
and not miss and break through to atmosphere.
Found em cheap at Harbor Fe right, about a yard long 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" kit $6.

Worked my way to commitment to 1/2" cross piece hole plus some Dremal
relieving hole edge to slip in a bit. The cross piece is 1/4" at least, cool.
Double checked sighting of bit projected contact.
Feed in bit to feel it slide in tube to weld seam then tick up onto leg flat, cool.
Tapped swing arm form scratching and eased spinning bit to its task.

Slowly oh so slowing not to flex bit or slip aim, ground and ground for
little effect, put back in with more patience, began to feel good bite
and tried to back light push before angled hole snagged the bit and not break inside.
First Oh No, was Dremal steel ball abraider fell free into the hole, it shook right out, whew.

Halfway successful, bit jammed and un- candy caned its grooves but extracted with just
a back twist. It cracked through leg wall though, yea!.
So appears may take 3-4 bits to get er done to flow air fully.

Next step was to test for more air volume by puffing into the hole,
brigthened mood to take more than one breath to feel resistance,
then chest fallen on next breath as nil resistance and air leak heard .
UH oh, UH oh UH oh with blank starring in cocking dog head confusion.

Nothing on the out side showed, whew, seems the big axle adjuster
puck sleeves welding at top/bottoms of the narrow box section did not fill the gap.
Well fine then, planned on two condensation bolts tapped in bottom each leg
low point, so will drbble in enough epoxy to get the gaps sealed, I hope,
and not drain past to the bolt threads that pinch adjuster cam pucks locked.

Have I ruined a nice item or advanced it to even better function?
Immediate prior great success step into failure was new crank I'd never handled
but found too bent to use, so replacement ordered - as per Norton tradition..

How many 100 psi stress cycles do you think you'll get out of that swingarm?

...and what the heck is the pressure being fed to? Air shifter from drag racing?

I would have thought of using a purpose-designed small cylinder up behind the main spine web. Like a shifter or NOs bottle.

I had seasoned machinist and retired industrial engineer heft it
for opinion of PSI tolerance, both said should be fine at 100 #.
I was going to creep up on pressure taking measures for expansion,
but since drilled thru I see its beefy 1/4" thick, so likely
could take 200 lb cycles forever more.

Motive is to get some real advantage form Peel's Watt's like
tri-linked isolastic articulated energy storing ballistic vectoring,
outside influence transparent, power traction pulse dampening
pilot comforting total neutral handling.
Humpf, everyone else and their kittens brake for turns,
just not possible at Peel's entry rates, brake effects reverse,
only changes angle and aim, not speed in time to matter.

40 mm Maney belt drive can fit factory alternator but
not with Drouin blower case mounted. Prior to realizing
this - realized factory charger not up to much water pump.
So stored air trickled into a tank, What tank, oh yeah.
to push water out during intervals of need.
Need water d/t static 10:5 CR and only 91 octane around here,
and twitchy Drouin trigger fingers.

Studying how much water and how much PSI to over
come detonation and boost pressure and not overwhelm air
supply - decided on 40 lb. So storage of 100 PSI in volume
but regulated 40 PSI to water tank space.
Will first try 15% water to fuel volume and work from there.

Engine calculators shocked me on data inputs and
realized Peel would be almost as wheelie G's limited
as moderns. Plus Peel's default stance is 2" taller than stock.
She hi centered too easy playing with MX bikes on obstacle courses.
Logs, ditch-humps, ravines and stumps, gopher holes, creeks.

This flashed me back on my P!! dragster
built 2" low in front, could not wheelie unless on
purpose for the delayed G's. Leaped or just spun rear.
Then came across the MX racers one use "Hot Shot Devices".

Bingo, air muscles to pull down as desired and act
like a Lo Rider car of course. Some day might put
electric valves in, controlled like injectors referenced
by inertial sensor, to dog legs stiff on panic brake,
yet drops head like a Bull to charge.

None of this makes any sense unlit you've flown over
to the other side with tri-links, two of them compliant.

I'm getting a massive headache, LOL What are you trying to accomplish? Space flight? Low earth orbit?

Dearest Nortoneers,

I seek as high - fast an orbit as still oxygen to compress for combustion.
Tyres will limit top speed, so picture a quin't cable and fabric
biplane filming jet fighters on after burner climbing out
- while Peel is easy flying ahead of them and all around them for
good film shots - till they apporach super sonic ballistics only speeds.

I leave yo'all with a revealing though that ain't fantasy to me,
do ya have any idea of what you're missing out on
playing in the 3 more phases of steering beyond
ordinary racer method of leaned counter steering?
Don't even picture a neck and neck contest, that is
like two gears too slow. pashaw.

The only motorcycle ever created that has the innate capacity
to tolerate constant harsh handling loads and hi traction pulses leaned
to very edges, is a rubber mounted flexy baby buggy between your legs
> once stabilized by Triple Watt's like linkage.
Simply UnApporachable Whether Two tires skipping or
better Only One Planted.
