I am beginnimng to reassemble my '72 lower end. I sent the cases out to CNW for cleaning and new cam bushes, click the link:

Stunning work!

To the point. When the cases returned the intermeadiate shaft was presented as a component part, not as an integrated piece. So the timing case is in the oven, the shaft is in the freezer...

The $64 question:

In which direction does the oil hole face, in the direction closest to the load bearing (which I would guess is closer to 10:30/11:00) or 180 degress in the other direction??

I just took a quick look at my 67-68 sitting on my desk and it's pointing at 6-6:30. I'm sure someone will come along with better info though.

How do you like your Hyper?
I was so close to getting one but the Superduke seemed easier to live with as daily bike. Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision.
