Looks like an early VR. The later ones got beefed-up left side case halves. Too many of them blew out the left sides, mostly due to Kenny's OIF design that ended up resembling the rebirth of the Combat grenades. I had a complete "late style" VR880 engine in parts including the improved/beefy left side case.
