dent in tank

Anybody can advice me on how I can get a dent out of my (steel) roadster tank? It is on the location where the "Norton" logo is....(left side)
Pressurize or try to knock it out with a stick with a soft end or something?
Thanks in advance

If you can find one of these hail-chaser guys I'm sure he can do it. They use long rods for leverage to push out dents (caused by hail storms) and get it darn near perfect. They travel, following the storms, but I know there is one based in the Poconos.

They shine a light on the outside of the tank and move the metal in small increments until it is perfect. It is an acquired art and there is a school for it in the south somewhere. He saw and fixed dents in my Eclipse that I didn't even know were there. (Plus the ones I could see!)

Auto dealers nearly all have a dent guy who comes around to fix small stuff. They will usually also have a paint guy who does touch up.
Dent Pro is one of the common names in the field over here in CA.
As mentioned these are the hail guys that travel to hail areas.
I found the last guy I used by going to a detail shop and getting an estimate when I stupidly left a screwdriver on the wheel well of my M Roadster and slammed the hood. I would defy you to find the spot after he fixed it for about $70 when a hood repaint would be over $600.

+ 1 On the dent guys with the rod tool, I was at a car show and the guy asked if I wanted to try hitting the fender with a hammer. Well I did and darn if he didn't make it perfect. Amazing!
