In theory it is. I am running the crossover , but have purchased the non-crossover before Norton went out of business. I haven't tried them. I doubt it will make much difference cross or no cross . All of my tuning work with the Dynojet PCV was done with the cross decat pipe .Reviving this thread to ask
Is the crossover decat pipe preferable over the non cross over?
I didn’t leave. Just had some stressful family issues I needed to address and unfortunately I let it get the best of me and I took my frustration out on the forum which should of never of happened. For that I do apologize to everyone here. Especially LABwelcome back scott - glad you're back mate
I forgot to mention , I think the construction of the newer non-crossover decat pipe will be less prone to cracking . These cracks will appear over a long period of use/miles. The cracking starts at the pipe welds where they " Y " out . The newer decat pipe uses an upper and lower welded on bracket which bridges the pipe welds . Without more miles of test can't be sure , but its what I think . If someone has experience with both cross or non-cross over decat pipe please chime in . Or If you've ridden both , please chime in. I remember that FE had the non-cross decat pipe on his bike , others too but have seen them here in a long time.Reviving this thread to ask
