Last night I thought I’d run up the Sport and may be go for a summers evening blast. Key in. Ignition on. Starter button depressed. Rider depressed. Not a winkle! Usual checks complete - zilch. This evening grabbed 10 minutes to have another look. Seat off. Fuse cover off. Starter relay out. New Omron relay in. Ignition on. Starter pressed. CRIKEY IT STARTED!! Quickest fix ever. Rider now happy. You just can’t beat a Norton!

Took mine out yesterday, it had been stood a week, not plugged in and guage reading 12v. Started 1st attempt with a little throttle. Warmed up at 2000 rpm, guage reading 14.7 then 13.2 when ticking over. Off to the Cleveland hills it was then, after a close shave with a Diesel nozzle, what a blast, getting close to the idiot rubber on the tyres now .

Healthy voltage output there Al , never seen mine in the 14 range !

So far so good, did they change/modify later models? Mine's a 2019 euro4.

All sorts of changes on these bikes here & there,a parasitic drain is apparent on a lot of bikes, something in the speedo I believe, lot of guys had them replaced ,most bikes can’t be left without leaving them on a battery tender

I think it's the clock, same with my CCM!
