Would some kind soul give me the dimensions of the crank seal in the timing case?
Thanks...

Is there a seal in the timing side? Oil from the timing chest drains back into the crank case.

Just happen to have a new one on the bench, laying beside my mic. So to be clear, this is the oil seal that is seated in the outer timing cover, under a circlip, that ride on the end of the crank, right? My new one is labeled p/n 04-0823. Please take these measurements as 'ballpark' since I'm not an experienced machinist and the part is rubber and easily flexed:
o.d. is 1.067"
i.d. is 0.57"
Thickness is .18"

I hope this helps!

Thanks I want to know if this seal would fit another application.
Appreciate the effort.
