Me too. I am so pissed I had just bought a new "regular " battery and a month later I learn about the new Lithion Ion type.

I talked to one of the battery places (BatteryStuff.com) and they recommended against the Lithium Iron for non-electric start bikes. Said they won't make any difference. Suggested staying with the AGM.

Obviously they would make more money on the more expensive batteries, so take that for what it's worth.

doesnt matter. I can use this battery in all three of my Bikes. One actually has a starter.

I used the package foam to secure it in my Bonneville.
