Commando engine stand

This may sound a little weird but could anyone supply me with dimensions/drawing for a Commando engine stand ?
Thanks to the pandemic I’m currently stuck thousands of miles away from my (or any?) Commando. I do have time and welding gear on my hands though. Any help appreciated.

I can get any dimension you need.
What hole locations do you need, the front and second up from the bottom rear is normally enough.

Thanks Time Warp, yes those two would be fine + hole sizes if poss.

This should work for 750 or 850 cases.
Drilled @ 10 mm holes would allow some clearance.
The 7.285 mm measurement would have the cylinder line horizontal, engine vertical.
The cases bolted together are both around 84.5 mm width (at the two mounts)
Where the stand bolts to the mounts if the contact area matched 20 mm OD there would be no clash with the main body (of the crankshaft chamber)
From the rear mount hole to the face of the large sump plug face is 78 mm.
Any other detail needed not a problem.

Well anything to keep you from being bored. I know what that is like when working away from home knowing there are a million jobs to be done only if you could get to them.

I confess I bought a ready made stand but.....

Seeley920 pointed out recently that two pieces of 2" angle with 2 holes drilled in each does a good enough job for an engine stand!

You can use the two lowest mounting holes!

My bought stand uses the front hole shown in the drawing and the lower hole next to the large sump plug location.

This provides for more even clamping of the cases if you are not fully tightening the stand to case studs!

Here's another sugestion for a DIY engine stand, (not mine) this one is adjustable and can be used for several different engines

I'd agree

This is my short and simple engine stand. two identical pieces and two bolts & wing nuts. However quite a bit more stable than a pair of angle irons.

I have made a few for my engines (see below) and a few for the local club guys.
