Might be an eyesore to you and others but not me I am proud to show it off and then you get the ones who whinge that you can't retard it to start it (no need to for one kick every time), but then I do know the benefits of a well set up Joe Hunt and how good they are, not for everyone's taste, but my Norton is my hotrod bike, built by me for me and no one else lol.
Eyesore or not I don't really care as I have a sweet running Norton and it just got better since I mounted the Joe Hunt 15+ years ago.
But then I like stirring the pot just to get reactions from most who will never know how good they are lol.

Bit of a thread wander so back on topic: Altair v SureFire and the Dreaded Kickback.
Changed out the A for S, easy enough until I realized that I was short one rotor!
Yes ordered a new one but shipping won't occur until end of May. So pulled out one
from the Interceptor.
Bike now does not kick back. But it is just as unwilling to start. No matter, a step forward
believe me. Too damp today to ride so will have to wait to see if there is any difference
whilst under way.

Trispark. No kickback, easy start.
