No worries bike in my possession for 48 hours. I had this on Yamaha FZ600. Brought it home and ,no shit, the wind blew it over!!! That will never happen again. Removed side stand hacksawed it off and will reweld tomorrow.

Thats a good move. I recall someone on here had an issue whereby the tyres went flat whilst parked on the shed... resulting in it falling over because of the long side stand and lack of lean.

Yikes, something else to watch out for... Need to develop a pressureimate

The easiest way to be safe is get some spools for the rear swing arm and a rear bike stand. The spools boss use 6mm bolts. If you get mini spools (short spools) will clear the mufflers too so you can leave them bolted on.

I still crap myself using a rear bike stand. Always need two people to make sure it doesn't topple over particularly when releasing it. Now I use a front stand I can just ride straight into and out of with zero risk of something going wrong.

Yup - I got a back puncture and that's enough for the bike to tip on the stand. You're then in a potentially awkward position as you need to support the bike and if you're by yourself what do you do? On my new little Kawasaki it leans at a terrifying angle on the sidestand but then most of the weight is low down.
