The ignition sub harness on my 75 mark three, has the four wire modular connector and several bullet connectors. The four pin connector corresponds to a connector coming out of the main harness. The connector on the wiring sub harness will plug into this, but there are three bullet connectors That don’t color match anything in the other harness. The spade connectors are also different colors than what is on the main . Have they changed the colors of the wires?

Black/White and Black/Yellow are standard for the points (and are used differently for electronic ignitions). White/Red is Starter Switch to Starter Solenoid. Those are all standard colors. Sounds like you're missing a sub harness. I wire from scratch so I don't know all the sub harnesses sold for MK3. Since you said 75 and you have MK3 harness componsnts I'm assuming you have a MK3.

White/Red is Starter Switch to Starter Solenoid.

But that doesn't have a connection to the ignition harness. The wire should be white/pink (WK) for an electronic tacho that was never used so is redundant.
That don’t color match anything in the other harness.

Because they don't connect to the harness but to other parts. Black/white (RH coil/cyl) and black/yellow (LH) connect to the points (and condensers) as Greg said, red should connect to a spade terminal on the condenser bracket (under nut).
The spade connectors are also different colors than what is on the main . Have they changed the colors of the wires?

Well what are the colours? They wouldn't happen to be white/yellow by any chance (or white/blue looking at your picture) as for some reason some replacement harnesses have white/yellow instead of (correction) white/purple which are the coil negative connections. One white/purple should connect to the ballast resistor and a white/yellow or white/purple(?) to the other ballast terminal.

This British wiring ignition harness has the correct white/purple wires but bullet connectors instead of the plug.
