I have an RGM belt drive and a clutch rod seal and still need to clean the plates from time to time. Can see oil marks radiating out on the face of the seal each time i pull things apart.

Hi , I haven't personally had this problem [as yet] but a retailer suggested to me that the use of the side stand aggrevated this problem ,his logic being that the oil finds its way into the mainshaft possibly by capillary action and then when the bike is stationary and put on the side stand gravity takes over and the oil flows to the lowest side , the clutch side ! . He also said some models had side stands that allowed the bike to lean more than others ,and this would accentuate the problem .Ihaven't given this a lot of thought ,but I thought I'd put it out there and let every one do there own analysis .
