I won 1st place in antiques at last weeks bike night with my '72 combat. Not sure how prestigeous the award is when a clown gives it to you LOL!

A win is a win . Take it when you can .
Looks like you deserved it , nice bike .

Never mind about the clown. So is the guy in yellow your rider?

OK, so why won't sharks eat clowns? Because they taste funny!

A 1972 Combat is considered an ANTIQUE? A '52 ES2 might be, but a '72 is only just reaching its prime.

Not antique to a lot of us sadly. Time passes and we get left behind!

+1

Anything older than 25 model years is eligible for an Antique plate in PA, including my 1985 Honda VF1000R which I remember sitting on the showroom floor new, when I bought my VFR700. It's really odd riding a 160 MPH+ crotch rocket with antique plates!

That's my reaction when someone calls my '72 and "old Norton". Pre war is an old norton. A '72 Commando is the new Norton. :)

but actually the yellow guy IS the SHARK. The funny thing is I've only seen them preying on children, never us old guys.

Regardless, Nice Bike!!! and I agree, take the win!

Very nice Norton! Congrats. My shop is just outside of Allentown; I like to do free inspections for Commandos and would offer you one, but you don't need it! Ride safe.

You should be honoured to get an accolade from the Prime Minister of Australia. (Sorry, shouldn't have said that, she is the best we've ever had in my lifetime).

Vintage. Where is your shop located? I have 5 other bikes, and a MK3 that could use a little love.

Its Fearfully Modern . It was built After the War ! . :p

I'm in PA as well and register my 73 as antique just because its $75 one time and you never need registration or inspection again
