Hey Guys,
My next step in getting my barn find Norton street able is some new tires. It is a 75 Mk3 with stock rims. I would like to use something that looks semi classic. I am going for that survivor look which means I do not want to dump any more money into it this year ( cosmetics and such ). Any suggestions on a classic looking tire and what sizes do you recommend?
Thanks, Scott

TT100 K82's look best and are grippier than old, well good enough in 18 or 19 inch sizes. Avon RoadRiders are better but you lose the classic look

+1 on the Dunlops, despite their 'old school' look, they never cease to impress me with their performance.

I looked them up and that's what I was thinking about. What sizes are you running front and rear? Can I run the same size for both?

My '75 MK3 came stock with the mentioned TT100, also popularly called in 'the day' K81. It's what I'm running now and they stick just fine. Size is 4.10-19 and I'm pretty sure that's the only offering in tire for a 19" rim. Wear out the back tire, rotate the front back, and put the new tire on the front. Made in Japan.

I'm running 4:10 x 19 TT 100's on my 73 750 and they stick to the road like the proverbial Sh#t to a blanket ! No problems at all and easy to get hold of.

On a regular power and brake Combat I"ve come to enjoy the balanced feel of same size front and rear and in 110 size for better brake grip in front and some decent rear mileage vs a 100. If ya enjoy Norton torque much while mostly upright then will have opportunity to try a few sizes and brands over a few seasons but its well worth the wasted rubber in the long run.

Just to back up what's already been said; 4.10 19 front and rear works best, and I'm more than happy with K81s.
I tried a 3.60 on the front but it made the handling worse

I just sent him these bad boys...
Classic tires?
