Apparently you either shim between the bearing and crankcase or between the bearing and crank.

I would do it between the bearing and crankcase as that’s the easiest to get to, heat the cases and the bearing drops out. But I’m glad I didn’t need to.

Crank & bearing for a $. Good video. Keep them coming, besides there's nothing better on screen than Norton porn. Undressing them slowly & seeing what they're hiding.
