There was some recent discussion about the new float design in the Commando forum somewhere. Your answer could be there. I agree with Slick. Float level should be the same as what is recommended for concentric carburetors. Looks like the same bowl design with a new modern pump gas resistant float. But since I don't use Amals anymore, I'm a bit out of touch, and relying on my delusional tuner logic.
