I know it's a norton from the logo on the block but I am not sure. I plan on get it running and start to restore it, I'm pretty excited about the whole process.

Check for a model code number (possibly, "20" = 750 Atlas?), which should be stamped adjacent to both the frame and engine numbers?

Only the 750's had the breather on the end of the cam so if your s/n reads 115146 then you have a late 1965 atlas, 1966 model year started at s/n 115871.

You lucky devil ! I'd be pretty excited about restoring that Altas too . Keep the photos coming , these bikes are fairly rare in my part of the world .

If the prefix is 18 it is a 1966 650. If the prefix is 20 it is a 1966 Atlas. I have # from the NOC in England and it says 114000 was the start of the 1966 model year.
