Rotax.

They quit HD engines a long time ago.

I knew they quit them long ago, that's why I asked "again?" thinking maybe HD is so hard up they could make a few bucks. I don't keep up with that world.

The Buell spec Rotax is a meat eater. High state of tune.

In the interview Erik says: "I love an athletic bike, the kind that just tries to jump out from under you"

I have ALWAYS been a big fan of Rotax. I have an '02 BMW F650GS thumper that employs the Rotax lump. Fun bike.

A Rotax 600 in a snowmobile makes 125hp.

Tuned right up. I dream of retrofitting an 800 twin in my Polaris ATV.

Actually, it's quite peppy, and more bike than a guy my age needs any more (especially because my BRAIN feels 40 years younger than my BODY)
