All the production Rickman frames were Sifbronze welded in 531 tube. The first couple of frames the brothers made before going commercial might have been different, but I have no info on that. You can still buy the original Sifbronze no.1 rod, although there are other alternatives now that are equally suitable for bronze welding steel tube.Ken
