Direct push on fit for 750 motors only, 850 motors require the valve guides to be machined.JS Motorsport sells good quality valve guide seals. Much better than original ones. Graham
Yes, it's RH4 and the casting is porous. Yesterday I blocked the oil return holes and filled the rocker houses up to top of the guides with diesel to see if there are any leakage into the ports. No sign of leakage to day. Maybe it is different when the head is hot. If the cause is porous casting, it is a pore that has started leaking this year. Previously, the problem did not exist.RH4 head? Some of those were known to have cracking/porous casting...
To wet sump the bike has to stand still for at least a week or two. The blue smoke occurs after staying the over night.Could it be from wetsump situation at start up, then dissipates once excess sump oil returns to tank?
Not necessarily true...depends on the bike and oil pump/pressure relief valve condition. Easy to check how much is in sump after sitting vs right at shutdown. To wet sump the bike has to stand still for at least a week or two. The blue smoke occurs after staying the over night.
Ok. Then I need to change them. Thank you."Did you solve it with new oil ring?"
Yes!
