Black background

This pink and white back ground might take a bit of getting used to . I'm going to try it for a week or 2. Amazing it stays the same now every time I get on the site.

Main text area is lighter grey on darker grey and white text on black in edit mode. As a short cut on some sites I tag view in browser menu bar then page stye then no style to see it in plain b/w test like in the olden days of www.

On my FF screen the traditional background appears gray at least in the message area, I tried the 'light' but it was too bright for my 71 year old eyes. ETHO

digital doodoo plagues us all. I do most my 'puter time with big screen 8 ft away so have it expanded to read easy and forum thread title to avatars fit just fine till today mid scrolling about it flipped into wide screen mode that I have to shift back/forth to see poster time of posting or avatar. Don't know if another cosmic ray cascade got 'puter again or a change on forum side as has not affected my other regular sites or forums. My eveballs are pretty good but their signals scamble processing in brain paths so this forum's font is a bit trippy as not blurry but letters combine and break in blink like intervals. I like reading ~ dozen words wide columns rather than today's new spread out format.

I just switched to the new "light" background and got an immediate reduction in eyestrain to my 68 yr. old eyes.
