1971 Commando?
Yes a Commando, the log book does not state the model type......M2 Roadster?

If the big lumps don't give any clues, then by the process of elimination, it's likely to have been either a Fastback, FastbacK LR, Roadster, 750SS, PR or Interpol.
If it's an original UK registered Commando then probably a Fastback. Those with access to the surviving factory records (NOC or VMCC) may be able to give you more detailed informaton about which model it was-if you are lucky.

(PS, I think you are the one who's supposed to supply the photos!)

Just bought a1971 750 frame number 20M3S 146601 eng No 146601 in big bits, which model is it please?

NOC have a factory records enquiry section on their website. I also have a '71 they were able to tell me the day it was built, it's original colour and the model. It's a free service for members ( £17 a year membership I think, including monthly roadholder magazine).
Hope this helps
