Hyde Harrier?

The script with that first bike is about old guys inspiring their kids to ride motorcycles. I have two sons, only the older one ever rode motorcycles. When I first started road racing, I took my wife and kids to Calder Raceway. My two sons were standing watching the braking area at the end of the front straight when I threw the bike away at about 100 MPH due to the front brake and wet surface. So the good thing was I never had to watch them race motorcycles. They were aged about 8 and 10 and they thought I was dead. The older one used to ride a Kawasaki ZZR 750 to work. There was a kid near-by who was always fanging his bike and one day when my son was riding to work, that kid was laying dying by the side of the road. My son's co-workers asked him if he was still going to ride his bike to work, my son said 'of course I am'. I only know of him dropping the bike on one occasion. He fell off in the middle of all the traffic on a city street after riding over the tram lines.

Oh well, to each his own and all that.

Just looks like some untrained, unskilled, unsympathetic folk took a perfectly beautiful motorcycle and f***ed it up big style to me tho!

+1

It certainly sent a shiver down my spine -for all the wrong reasons!

Oh well, I guess they are turning the usual custom bike philosophy on it's head of taking a compromised production bike and turning it into a piece of mobile art. Here they have taken a piece of mobile art and turned it into an eyesore. I hope they stick to current production bikes that can be salvaged and don't move on to irreplaceable classics.

But each to their own and good on them for getting stuck in and giving it a go. Some people never do anything creative in their life.

Well that proves it beyond reasonable doubt....

Some people just have TOO MUCH spare time on their hands...!

That's a good lookin bike! I've always liked that style for a Commando.
This is one of my old faves, don't know much about it, I got it out of 90's issue of Classic Bike

And this one is my friends, another cafe/tracker, built up from various parts

The top one was built by Richi Foss in Scotland. He still owns and rides it. One of my favourites over the years too.

That blue bike wasnt a good ad for Norman, hard to start and backfired up the road ???
