Best place to buy a new seat for a MK 1?

I need to track down a seat for a 1973 MK 1 850 Commando, the current seat pan I have has been bent in such a way that it's impossible to reupholster. I can see a lot of seats on eBay but they're all for MK 2 or MK 3 models and I don't know if they're backwards compatible?
 
The seats for the Mk2 850 are, in theory the same underneath as the Mk 1.
The Mk 1 has the basketweave seat cover, of course.
Only for 1973 (?) (And maybe 1972 ??).

I've been contemplating the same thing, you see them new on resto-ed bikes, so someone must have them. ?
Unless they are all seat covers...

Would you be interested in an original seat? I have a '73 basket weave off my MkV I'd be willing to part with. I replaced it with a Corbin.
