I rode my Atlas across Shaver Lake to Shaver Island in the high Sierras. You just needed to wait until the Hydroelectric Company pulled the lake level down far enough, and also know where the saddle was that connected the island to lakeshore. It also helped to be half in the bag on beer. The water got above the primary case, but well below the carbs. My buddy followed well behind me on his Bonnie..... when we hit the island, then.....(Ahh! but what follows then is a story for the pub).Slick
