Off topic , but that is one of the worst things you can do to your engine ..

I'm not one to let the bike sit there for more than a minute while I'm doing my final adjustments...but could you elaborate on your point, Ludwig?? Then I promise, everyone....it's back to rearsets!!!!

Thanks Guido... That's a '58 Vespa GS150 and under it is a '62 Vespa VNB... and beside that is a '60 MGA. Lol. I'm a glutten for oil leaks and hard to find bits.

A lot of people were drooling over the Hyde rearsets, which then sold for some nose bleed price. When you look at them, they aren't all that complicated. I would be interested in hearing and seeing photos from people who have built their own. Anybody out there with some nice home built examples, and comments on how they went about it?

Talking of rear sets, I picked up this set of genuine (not so sure about the rubbers!) Dunstalls today at a bike show in Weizer.
Doe's anyone out there know what they are for, they're clearly not for a commando?

Thanks

Thanks Bwolfie,

I only need the pegs and maybe the gear change lever (for the brake) for my Triton build. I was drooling over a double TLS drum off a Laverda laced to a 18" WM2 Borrani rim, thankfully (for my wallet) the stall owner had packed up by the time I went back to ask the price :)
