Supposed to make kickstarting easier but no info.
Looks like chainsaw parts, push a button down to open it, pops back up after the engine fires. Got one in My Stihl, makes the starter rope last quite a bit longer.Supposed to make kickstarting easier but no info.
I've use compression releases on BSA B50s (500c single). They hold the exhaust rocker from returning all the way and the point is to get the engine just past TDC on the compression stroke, turn off the compression release and kick so the engine is spinning quickly enough to suck, then compress and fire.![]()
