Any Railroad historians?

NH.
I travel all over our country for the last 41 years, mostly industrial locations.
Were you at the rally at Blackthorne?

Many times, I'd filter down that scenic road, to miss 87/287 madness.
Beautiful area!

If you’re in the area and want to check out a good bike road for twisties and scenery rt 218 West Point awesome run kinda short 5 miles or so no intersections top shelf run imop if your in the area.

In Australia, our major industries are now farming, education, house construction and tourism. Several railway lines have been reoved to make bicycle paths. If a family wants to go somewhere to enjoy themselves., they are probably expected to carry several bicycles with them. I have been to the UK twice. I love their nostalgia kick, and the vintage trains are a big part of that,
In Sydney, we used to have vintage ferries on the harbour. A trip from Circular Quay to Manly past the Opera House was absolutely lovely. But in the name of progress, that has gone. To me, that is the ultimate in stupidity. There are reasons tourists visit Australia, and they are a major part of ourv economy, if not - THE major part.
