from white words on black background to black on white (or any color dark letters/light background)? I realize that it's probably just the minority of old folks (like me) that may have a a little difficulty with the white on black but just thought I'd ask. ;)

Open your 'Access Norton Control Panel' (top, left) then, >Board Preferences>Edit global settings.

Change 'My board style' from 'Norton_Commando_Forum' to: 'Norton_Commando_Light' >Submit.

When you open the next forum page it should be 'black on white'.

Finding a black cursor on a black background while editing is a real PITA!

Change the cursor to white?

A black cursor normally has a white outline so it should be visible on a black background.

I find white writing on a black background to be the easiest to read. Like the instruments on our bikes and all old cars. The black background reduces the overall light input to our eyes and so our pupils dilate, making the white writing stand out even more. Same goes for white debris or lint on dark clothing or carpet.
