Jerry, would it be a good idea to perhaps have a page, or list of some description, where links to interesting / revelvant links are kept for easy searching / access?

What great reading... and there is lots here I didn't know or realise especially as I have driven past the site dozens of time & don't live that far away

I spent a large portion of my working life as a chemist in the Metallurgy Laboratory in Ordnance Factory Maribyrnong ( Melbourne), also making better ways to kill people. Reading this document reminds me of the mindset which prevailed in engineering factories. The Brits simply did not have enough money or the race classes in which to spend it. I think it has gone, never to return.

One good thing about Norton Commandos - at least they make you get your hands dirty. I sometimes wonder why some people are born with them.
