After 3 years of pampering, an unattended tip over

Had exactly the same problem lot of mates turned up on my drive last year usual some of them using my compressor to inflate their tyres replacer broken foot rest on one of their sons cbr6000 then got on my commando and dropped it due to that side stand don't care what anyone tells me it too long so got it shortened by 25mm now perfect for me thinking of having rear sets made for it anyone did this

I sold a car a few years ago...

Buyer is kicking the tyres and looking around the car...
“Do the parking sensors work” he asks,
“Yes” says I,
“Does the reversing camera work”?
“Yes”,
“Well, not being funny, but how did that happen”? he says pointing at the scuffed rear bumper,
“It’s my wife’s car” I answer,
“Fair enough” he says!
True story. Still makes me laugh!

I went out and took a photo and promptly posted it on Facebook. That's when Mark Martin (from way across The Pond) left a comment saying that the brake lever looked as though it was pointing 90° downward.

I think my comment was along the lines of "looks like your brake lever has a 180deg bend, does it now double up as a drinks holder?" hehe

Back to the crime scene once again. Installing a new lever was a 3 minute job with 2 minutes consumed by trying understand why Richard C’s manual did not match my set up. o_O

Now she’s ready for a test ride to see if my oil change from a month ago is problem-free. In any case she will be bundled up next Tuesday and shipped off to Colorado where my brother lives. Then I’ll ride around those gorgeous mountain roads with the wife and big brother for 10 days in September. No more harsh New England climate for this girl ... for the bike, of course ... not the wife. ;)
