It's a nice starting point for a 961 Scrambler/Flat Tracker model.
I like the classic Norton Dominator styled tank.
Maybe a high exhaust along the side with heat shields instead of lower system.
I think maybe a darker shade of red on the frame too.
But definitely a great look for the 961.

Oh cool, I just noticed the Norton "N" insignia on the swingarm reinforcement strut is a cutout.
That's really sharp.

And when the front fork dives the oilcooler will lock up the front wheel - probably built by the same idiots that put knobbly tires on roadbikes and wrap the exhaustpipes "because it looks soooo cooool"

The bike's design incorporates a few things that really don't make practicle sense.
If it is a streetbike why no tail light?, why no airfilter/airbox, are there Cats on that exhaust? Also, no fender?
If it is intended as a falttrack racer - dual discs up front spell big time highside an first application at speed on the track. What the hell is a headlight doing on a racer?

Let's not be too serious here.
the MM looks to be just a concept bike inspired by the CR Axtell 750’s of the last century.
It's a pretty neat one at that.
If Norton every decided to produce such a bike, several items would have to be re-thought.

I forget if it is in this, or last months Classic Bike magazine, where they announced that this IS available from Norton.

They are only going to make 12, and they are £30,000.

Doesn't look any less practical and / or controversial than the Domiracer to me.

To each his own I say.

I like the swing arm as well , maybe as an upgrade to a 961 commando. Also , you may notice the angle of the lower run of the drive chain , indicating a tensioner/guide for the chain . I noticed early on that the drive chain path comes close to the swing arm brace .

The lady’s foot seems strategically placed in the photo to cover that area of the bike.
You may be on to something.

Maybe if they sell the 12 planned bikes, and see public interest in the design, Norton may decide to built affordable versions.
