Hi,

My 920 kit has an +40 bore and I need new pistons. 82mm

Do any have some suggestion which pistons I can use?

I know that Norvill have pistons, but I think they are to heavy (ca 500g each) and I can`t afford Jim`s piston/rod kit.

I`m thankful for any suggestion.

Have your barrels re-sleeved back to standard 920?

Norvil would just be remachined car pistons!

I think they were originally (which was why the conrod small ends had to be reamed to take the larger pins) however I think they now supply purpose-made 920 pistons.

RGM has been supplying specially made items instead of modified car (Cosworth) pistons for some time, I believe.

Steve Maney??

Steve Maney only lists standard size 920 pistons, but I'm seeing him tomorrow and so will ask him if he does any larger sizes.

Having said that, Norvil only list up to +0.040"

So as LAB asked,
Have your barrels re-sleeved back to standard 920?

Drop Ken Canaga a line, I think he may still have some 940 pistons laying on a shelf. Cheers

As suggested by his web site, Steve Maney only does standard size 920 pistons.
