Is the " CNW starter mechanism upgrade" the new John Snead 3 piece sprag unit? I didn't know they were available yet. I don't need one at the moment but when my sprag goes I think I'll go that route.
Yes I am testing it. I am going to show another post about it shortly.

Of course you can’t sell it ...

You‘ve just built a fabulous big ‘shop’ and you’ve ONLY got 3 bikes in it...

You should buyin’ not sellin’ !!

You are right. I am looking for an ES2 to rebuild now as well, locally. I will find one one day.

Not bad for a starter kit..... Harrrumphff.

Do like Jerry's bikes bunches. They look as if in need of more company though.

How local is local? I might have one in mind that's not on the market...
Denver area as I dont want to travel anywhere right now. A friend in the Denver area has a 1961 one that I might be able to buy one day. The problem is I dont want to pay a fortune for one that works, because I am going to restore it anyway, would prefer one in bits.

Whose mirrors are installed? They look very clean. How's the rearward vision on them?
JD
I got them at jpcycles. They have a pretty good selection. The rearward vision is not as good as the stock ones. They are good enough for me though. I like them so much I have them on both bikes.

oh jerry why you go to lower Handel-bars? I have 'standard' ones on my commando and a pair of 'euro' bars in shed wanting to be installed...what you'uns other folks think of euro vs reg'lar bend bars?

I was ok with the roadster bars. I had purchased these stainless wire retainers that clip on the bars. They were crap and scratched my bars up. It was bugging me and when I was chatting with Matt he said they were pretty good. So I bought them for a change. I am glad I did. I had to fit a shorter brake hose as well.

Like Glenn said earlier, that is a nice looking luggage rack, it really fits the look of the bike with the stock seat. I didn't notice them at first but the mirrors look to be spot on too.
