This is a reply I received from the Made In England website run by the NSW NOC in Australia.

Reg,

Do your homeowrk on this. As far as i know, the three parts of the cranks
were made seperate and thrown in their category bins. So all the left throws were in one bin and the rights in another. balance weights in a third. They then bolted up a crank, and then machined the journals, threaded the shafts, machined the flywheel as one complete unit as with balancing.

Its best to get it rebalanced at whatever balance factor you like. Thats a long story on whats best there alone. Also if the cranks have not been
seperated yet, make sure you fit the drive side of the flywheel of the 850
crank to the drive side of the journal on the 750 throws. Reversing the
flywheel will totally alter the balance factor to something no where near
its intended use.

No reason why it cant work, but remeber the 850 flywheel is heavier than
the 750 flywheel, so the acceleration will be a tad slower.
