Yes, USD equal. At the bottom in the notes it shows 726.00, inc VAT.
They retailed here I think for $1695.00. USD

The rate changed throughout the year. $1703 USD at the beginning of 1973 rising to a maximum of $1877 around May-June, ending the year at $1685.
UK VAT at that time was 10%.
