That would probably make a good flask also Rick. Is the cap a good seal?
Indeed it would Ben as that was it’s original purpose. Looks to be spun cast aluminum - cap & threads machined . Cap will be removed when I finalize the location. Hopefully paintwork will be complete soon.

Not quite sure why you think you need a catch bottle ?
Hi FE - I blanked of the elbow on the air cleaner box that would normally accept the hose from the oil tank - while I never had too much of a problem , others have noted they sometimes get a gooey emulsion collecting at the bottom of the air filter - hence the bottle .

Redbreast Lustau. Travels better than the bourbon. At home Weller 12 is my favorite but impossible to get now.

I'm on a Jim Beam "Vanilla" on the rocks, -kick right now. Before that, we'd been having Moscow Mule cocktails on the weekend. ;) But I digress.

For any that may be wondering - still waiting for tank , etc from painter . Now looking like mid June - getting antsy here - truth be told this is a very small problem when taken in context with the upside down state of our existence right now - stay tuned & stay happy-
Cheers - RT

Got these pics from the painter today - if all goes well with the color sand / clear coats all should be on their way back to me next week .
Oh yeah !
