Also on that day, Best of France and Italy at Woodley Park, Van Nuys. Both are excellent.

Yup, we actually did both one year.
Rode to the dam, then over to Woodley then home.

Did you go? If so, I demand pics! I wanted to, but sorta hate to be that 'trailer guy' in a way. Not a show stopper for me as much as riding grooved freeway for 1.5 hours each way is, on my squirrely K70s. Plus I have a restoration in progress, and was doing very first test rides and fettling, if you can fettle a Suzuki anyway. Oh, the shame.

Met up with Steve and Horace @ Lucille's off 57 and Imperial.
Steve on His New Speed Twin, Horace on a newer RNinety.. Don't have pix.
Ridden with Steve alot, Horace is new. A little bit of trash texting the night before about bringing bailing wire and duct tape.
Steve's being quiet, I'm thinking whatever, we'll see. BTW, it is a fairly fresh motor, and yes, we'll really find out.
Off we go. Once again they put me in the lead, afterall I'm on the Old, slow bike .....
For those that don't know SoCal freeway's, 65 is merely a suggestion and a good chance of getting run over.
We run 75+ the whole way with a few 90+ blasts just because.
Needless to say, Horace, the new guy was impressed...

The Vincent club joins in, there's a ton of em here.

There is an organized ride that goes up and over to Acton, have a lunch and then come back.
I've done it and it's a nice ride. We chose not to do it and here's why. We're 60+ miles for the ride back.
SoCal freeway traffic on a Sunday afternoon BLOWS.... It's not fun.....So we headed home before it gets bad.
I just may become one of those that trucks or trailers the bike.... We'll see.....
