2013 Commando 961 – Difficult shifting, false neutrals, rattling noise, and broken pieces found in primary case

Agreed Tony - spotted the oil holes. Will provide better lubrication to the clutch components and prevent that darkening we see located around the centre of the clutch.

There has been a lot of traffic on this subject in the past, with a good number of us switching to Li (with dedicated BMS), with good results. From memory, City Garage also stated that he had fitted many to customers bikes without difficulty.

That said, Stu posts the following warning on FB today. Not aware of an instance of rec/reg failure in this scenario but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t occured.

Not the only contradiction in the 961 world of course! Some might say it’s a rolling contraction!! Valuable to have this level of advice though.
